SAN JOSE, Calif., March 20, 2006 -- Meriwest Credit Union, one of Silicon Valley's largest financial institutions, has named Christine Plunkett as Manager of Meriwest?s Tucson Financial
Centers located on Broadway and Rita Road. Ms. Plunkett is responsible for delivering strong sales and member service results.

She has extensive financial and management experience and will provide additional strength to the Tucson locations." said Maria Sanchez, Assistant Vice President of Retail Financial Centers.

Prior to joining Meriwest, Christine held a position as Real Estate Consultant for Prudential Colorado Real Estate. She also held a position as Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager at Equitable Savings and Loan Association in Limon, Colorado.

In addition, Plunkett possesses a State of Arizona Real Estate License, State of Colorado Real Estate Commission - Broker Associate license and formerly held an Arizona insurance license for life, health, property and casualty.

Plunkett received a Bachelor of Science degree in Management/Finance from Park University in Tucson, AZ and she is involved with several local community organizations/associations.
