Meriwest Launches Holiday Art Contest for Children

SAN JOSE, Ca., October 3, 2006 - Meriwest Credit Union, one of Silicon Valley's largest financial institutions, is having a Holiday Art Contest for children who like to draw! The contest is open to students between the ages of 3 to 18.

To enter, children must be a member of Meriwest Credit Union and must submit a drawing of a winter scene. A panel of judges evaluate each entry according to imagination, creativity and execution. A first, second, and third place winner is selected from each age group. The first place entry from each age group is used to create Meriwest's Holiday cards for 2006.
