Meriwest Announces the Promotion of Devin Baker to Associate Vice President of Support Services

SAN JOSE, Calif., November 20, 2006 - Meriwest Credit Union, one of Silicon Valley's largest financial institutions, has promoted Devin Baker to Associate Vice President of Support Services. Mr. Baker will focus on strategically evolving the Support Services Group to meet the ever-growing needs of Meriwest members, while mentoring his employees to deliver the best possible internal and external service. Mr. Baker has been working for Meriwest since February 2000 and started as a Financial Service Representative in the Contact Center and later became the Contact Center Manager. Prior to accepting his new role, Mr. Baker served as the Support Services Supervisor. His primary responsibilities included process and team management within the various departments of support. These areas include imaging, debit card, electronic services, check processing and IRA. "My goal is to strategically drive support services to a dynamic, efficient, cost effective and technologically advanced future. This division represents the back bone of the credit union; making and keeping it strong is job number one. I look forward to a great future in my new role," said Devin Baker.
