Meriwest Credit Union Honored with Industry Awards for Marketing

Credit Union earns first place for Web site marketing and receives merit award for annual report
Meriwest Credit Union, one of the largest credit unions serving Silicon Valley, the San Francisco Bay Area and Tucson, Arizona, today announced that it received a First Place award for Web Site Marketing from the Credit Union Executive Society (CUES) Golden Mirror Awards. In addition, Meriwest also earned a Diamond Award of Merit for its 2005 Annual Report from the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) Marketing & Business Development Council.
The annual awards from CUES and CUNA, respectively, recognize the efforts of credit unions to develop creative and innovative marketing materials, and shine the spotlight on marketing programs and promotions - online and in print - that deliver outstanding results.

The 33rd Annual Golden Mirror Awards were announced April 24, 2007, during the CUES Nexus Conference? at The Fairmont Dallas. CUES said it received more than 800 entries in the competition's 25 categories. CUNA handed out its 2007 Diamond Awards at the 14th Annual CUNA Marketing & Business Development Council Conference, held March 14-17, 2007, in Las Vegas. This year's competition attracted hundreds of entries in 35 categories, according to CUNA.
