Meriwest Credit Union Awards a $2,500 Prize to a New Member

SAN JOSE, CA - Meriwest Credit Union, one of the largest credit unions serving Silicon Valley, the Greater Bay Area and Tucson, Arizona, announced today that Carla Kanter is the winner in the New San Ramon Financial Center New Member Promotion. Her prize is a One Year Share Certificate of $2,500.
The New Member Promotion was run concurrently with the opening of the new Meriwest Financial Center in San Ramon. During the grand opening period, new members were automatically entered into the drawing. "The members are the heart and soul of our financial centers," said Curtis Portwood, the Financial Center Manager, "We are happy to present this award to one of the newest members of Meriwest, Ms. Carla Kanter, a local entrepreneur here in San Ramon."
Ms. Kanter is the owner of Coastal Business Dimensions and she lives in San Ramon with her two little girls. "I was very surprised to win this!" said Carla Kanter, drawing winner, "This $2,500 Share Certificate will make a nice addition to my girls' college fund."
