Meriwest Announces Winners of the 2007 Holiday Art Contest

SAN JOSE, CA - Meriwest Credit Union, one of the largest credit unions serving Silicon Valley, the Greater Bay Area and Tucson, Arizona, announced today the winners of their 2007 Holiday Art Contest. Kennedy K. of Morgan Hill, California was selected as the winner of the 3-10 age group and Carrie Anne S. of Tucson, Arizona was selected as the winner in the 11-17 age group. Both pictures were lovely renditions of Winter Holiday Scenes.

"Having our student members create our Holiday Card year after year is very special for us at Meriwest," said Christopher Owen, Chief Executive Officer of Meriwest Credit Union, "It is just another way that the organization connects directly with its membership."
"Many of the pictures created by the young artists were surprisingly good," said Tony Cortez, Vice President of Marketing at Meriwest, "Meriwest's young members have a lot of talent."
Cash prizes were awarded for the top three finishers in each age group. The winners for each age group were:
3-10 Age Group

- 3rd place: Jazzmin S. of San Jose, CA
11-17 Age Group
- 1st Place: Carrie Anne S. of Tucson, Arizona
- 2nd Place: Alisha D. of Cupertino, CA
- 3rd Place: Kristina S. of Tucson, Arizona
